Busy!
- Made Breakfast, ran out for coffee(apples currently not working), ran back home. Cleaned dishes, sorted clothes for wash. Wrote Father's Day cards, filled out medicade stuff. Loaded clothes in van, got Lorna ready. Left for post office, went to grocery store, picked-up lunch for Clint-took it to him at airport. Came back home, tried to take a brief nap. Got-up, took Lorna to Dr. Chaikin(she has a cold), picked Clint up from work, went to Pharmacy, dropped Clint off at "AS1", went home made speghetti sauce, went back to pharmacy to pick up prescription for Lorna. Got home, made pasta and the rest of the meal. Ate. Gave Lorna a bath, put her to bed, took clothes to wash, and came home cleaned up some, back to wash, put clothes in dryer and now waiting to go get them. I am officially tired! =) It's all good!

Talking!!!
A few of her new words are:
"good"..."it's good?"
"Dis"...pointing.
"Dat"..pointing.
"Neigh"..." she will say this while playing with a toy horse"
She loves to pretend to read her story books. She will say things out loud that I don't understand. I know where she's at in the story because she will inflect her words the way I do when I read to her.
Yesterday, I had a last minute request from a lady in student affairs ,that I hardly know. She asked if I would watch her daughters 6 wk. old baby girl for 4 hours. Her daughter helps on a soccer teem and coudn't find anyone to watch her baby for the game yesterday. Her mom was working and her dad was too. I guess she's not married. Anyway, the way she came about my name was the nice lady at the cashier window in the business office. I hardly know any of these ladies! Well, I watched her little sweetie and everything was fine. I was in shock that the mom would leave her with someone she doesn't know. I'm glad she asked me though. Lorna was so excited and it was nice to get a taste of how things will be soon. Yeah!
Gotta run!

Bree's letter

This is a great story from Bree in Haiwii! Beautiful pics too!
Hello everyone!I cut the pictures in half from the last time and can cut them again if that would be better for everyone :) Hopefully they wont take quite as long to open. The first one shows one of the boys favorite game, Josiah can stand up on his boogie board at this point (when he is riding a wave). There is a favored turtle sun bathing spot on the way to North Shore. The second picture shows the boys first visit there. They snorkel with turtles in the water most every day but this was a new experience. The last picture is of the water falls after a rain. Our side of the Island (the windward side) has cliffs all along the center carved by falls and covered in rain forest like fauna. It is beautiful truly, just not pleasant if you have no dry retreat.Having boys keeps me young. I lost track of them the other day and figured they forgot to tell me they were going down the beach. After a while I had to run Drew back to work (a 15min round trip) and yelled and called to no avail. So I left and returned as quickly as I could only to discover I they were still not to be found. The camp ground shares the same spit of beach as the 4th recon unit. As I walked down to their end I noticed a Marine looking in the bushes like he was trying to locate something. To my horror I realized the possibility that my boys could be spying on the recons as they practice for their secret missions. Gathering my courage I asked him if he had seen two young boys. My voice startled him and for a moment he stared at me in my civilian cloths as if he was trying to figure out why I was there. He pulled himself together and quickly said no mam and walked away.Disappointed and beginning to be nervous I returned to our end of the beach. I noticed out in the bay, beyond the outer reef where the waves break and the currents pull, a tiny boat with two figures in it. It was so far away I could not make out if they were mail or female. Thinking only of my children I continued to walk when all of a sudden the hair on my arms began to tingle. I looked again as the boat drew a little nearer. Could it be? How? No it could not. I still could not make out any details at all but my heart would not let me dismiss it. Agonizingly slow, the boat approached the beach. Finally I could see the truth. There they were, two little boys in a boat out of the bay. My overwhelming relief that they were making it back was replaced with a shocking "light bulb". That boat was what the recon was looking for! Painted black for their night beach invasion simulation they had it in the bushes ready for dusk. My boys had stolen a military watercraft!I waited only long enough to see that they were going to reach the shore, the two adventurers grinning ear to ear, before I ran all the way back to the 4th recon unit's headquarters. There seems to be an unspoken rule that in order to be accepted into this unit one must be over 6 ft, perfectly fit and dashingly handsome. It was only after I entered the building, out of breath with all eyes questioningly on me that I realized I did not know what I was going to say. "My little boys took your boat out of the bushes right out from under your noses as you prepared for exercises and pulled it over 30 feet down the beach to the water, launched and made it out of the bay and back." was the humiliating unplanned speech that came blurting out. Astonishment and then mouths twitching one stepped forward and said "if it is back where we found it when we need it I guess we wont know the difference will we." "No, I guess not." I stupidly replied and without any further ado headed out to make sure my babies had made it in safe."Look, look mommy, someone threw away a perfectly good boat in the bushes! We rescued it and it works and everything!" Came the innocent and truthful exclamations as they neared the shore. With as stern a face as I could muster I ordered them to replace the boat right where they found it and bring their behinds right to the tent. "I am sorry mommy, we should have told you we were going out." came the next flood of innocent and naive responses. Not a thought of life jackets or the possibility the boat was owned (who keeps a boat in the bushes?). Well all is well that ends well and after careful explaining the sobered and slightly shocked explorers played quietly by the tent for the rest of the day.I miss you all and will right again soon, Bree

Lorna Pic's!

Here are few of Lorna. She loves playing on the porch with her toys and chalk. She also loves her babies and tries to feed them her snacks. She has a new toddler bed now. She isn't in it yet but will be soon. The beautiful quilt on the bed was made by Katie. it is so cool! It has little airplanes all over it. Thank you again Katie! She also has face paint on from the Alley fest show the other day. She was admiring her new look in the mirror.
I'm Blogging!
Well, Clint walked the graduation ceremony in May! He still has a few hours of biblical studies to finish up and one final test for his major. We will be moving off campus soon. We applied for an income based rate apartment. It is only about 3-4 minutes off campus. That's great because Clint is a full time Flight instrutor for the school and will be close to the simulator labs. He will be both at the airport and sim labs for his students. The week we are suppose to move Clint will be taking his "O's and P's" test. It is over-all about 18 hours long over two days. Please pray for him. He has so much stuff to do on top of this test. He is working hard! I am so proud of him. It is almost over! We were joking lastnight about how stressful it will be when he is done. He will have to work until 5 o'clock and then come home and do whatever we wants to do. We can't wait. =)
Lorna is almost running around. She has two more visits left with the physical theropist and she will be done. She had and orthopidic evaluation and the Dr. said she is fine. Praise God! She is growing up so fast. I am starting to do room time with her so that when the new baby is born I can have some time by myself. She cries for the first 10-15 mins and then finds something to do for the rest of the 30 minutes. It' s going to get easier for her I'm sure. She's my sweetie!!
I am already starting to look pregnant! I didn't show until 6 months with Lorna. I am only 4 months right now! Yikes! It's all good though. I am excited about moving into the new apartment. It has a washer, dryer, dish washer, garbage disposal, and 2 bathrooms! I am going to feel like royalty! I really am so happy about not having to pack up the clothes plus Lorna and a new baby to do laundry, whew! I can't wait to hold another tiny baby. God is good.
Well, I plan on posting pictures soon. Love ya'll!
